As confirmed in my response to Parliamentary Question No. 113 of 29 June 1999, my office has made a thorough search of all the personal files held in respect of former employees of the Stationery Office but unfortunately no record of this person was found.
In order to ascertain what contributions, if any, were deducted from the person concerned, the original PRSI number is required and the person concerned is unable to supply it. Having initiated further inquiries with the Department of Public Enterprise, I am now informed that they have located a file that may be relevant to this case. That Department is retrieving this file. I will write directly to the Deputy with further information when my office has received the details available from that Department.
