403 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the recommendations arising from the report of the Maternity and Infant Care Review Group in 1997 which have been implemented; and if he will supply a copy of the report. [1167/00]
I am arranging for a copy of the report to be sent directly to the Deputy. The report contains a total of 109 recommendations. The recommendations in relation to the schedule of visits and a number of the recommendations relating to the promotion of the scheme have been implemented. The recommendation proposing that pilot projects on home births should be established has also been implemented. The implementation of the remaining recommendations is under consideration by the health boards.
