I refer to the reply to Question No. 76 of 16 December 1999, which indicated that a voluntary agreement entered into by the Irish Detergents and Allied Products Association in December 1999 provides for an effective phasing out of the marketing of phosphate-based domestic laundry detergent products in Ireland by end 2002.
