574 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will give approval to Fingal County Council to proceed with the sewerage treatment facility in Skerries, County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1886/00]

A revised preliminary report is awaited from Fingal County Council for this scheme which has been approved to advance through planning.

576 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the resources, if any, he has made available to Fingal County Council to upgrade the Malahide treatment plant; when moneys will be given to Fingal County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1888/00]

577 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the resources, if any, he has made available to Fingal County Council to provide a treatment plant in Lusk and Rush; when moneys will be given to Fingal County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1889/00]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 575, 576 and 577 together.

These schemes are included in my Department's water services investment programme as follows: Swords sewerage scheme – approved to start construction; Malahide sewerage scheme – approved to advance through planning; Rush/Lusk sewerage scheme – approved to advance through planning. Fingal County Council is entitled to claim recoupment of eligible expenditure in respect of these schemes on a monthly basis. All such claims to date have been paid.
