635 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the proposals, if any, she has for the refurbishment of St. Francis church, Greyfriars, Waterford; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1642/00]
I assume the Deputy is referring to the French Church, Waterford.
Essential conservation work to the windows was carried out in 1999 and further conservation and presentation works are scheduled for this year. These works will comprise masonry cleaning, repointing and the repair and conservation of carved stonework. The visitor access from the street will be improved and information panels will be provided.
