The above person named submitted two applications for special beef premium as follows: one animal on 10 August 1999; 15 animals on 9 November 1999.
A cheque for £63.79 representing the 60% advance was paid on 16 November 1999 in respect of the animal listed on the first application. All applications are subject to a two month retention period and consequently payment will issue in February 2000 in respect of the second application subject to compliance with the eligibility criteria.

The herdowner lodged an appeal on 22 November 1999 concerning his 1998 and 1999 area aid applications. This appeal will be examined by the headage and premia appeals unit shortly and the herdowner will be notified of the outcome.
