233 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve additional funding for secretarial assistance for an adult education organiser (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2813/00]
Each vocational education committee receives an administrative staffing allocation from my Department to be deployed in the best manner possible to meet the needs of the committee's schools and other needs, including the adult education service.
Provision has been included in their annual literacy budgets to enable them to pay for secretarial assistance.
