119 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if the review of the Tuskar Rock air tragedy by the British and Irish Governments has been completed; if so, if the report will be published; if it is proposed to have a further more detailed inquiry arising out of this review; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The review of the files in relation to the Tuskar Rock crash of 24 March 1968 is ongoing. Several meetings have taken place between Irish and British officials and between Irish officials and members of the families of the victims. A large amount of documentation has been examined and a report of the review is expected in the coming weeks.
It is my intention to make the report available to the public. Subject to any conclusions or recommendations the report may make, I shall then consider if any further action is warranted.
