Vol. 514 No. 3

Written Answers. - Departmental Correspondence.

Frances Fitzgerald

Ceist:

269 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if all details relating to contact with a person (details supplied) could be removed from the records of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3921/00]

The person concerned complained last year to the Department that her name appears in a document created by a manager in one of the Department's offices as a record of an incident following a telephone call which she made to that office. The circumstances relating to the document were fully explained to the person concerned in correspondence and she was assured that the document in question has not been associated with a particular personnel record – a point she raised in her correspondence with the Department. Any further clarification which she may wish to make in relation to the document concerned will be associated with it.
