313 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation when moneys will be made available in 2000 to improve facilities at Castlebar swimming pool, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter in view of the urgency involved. [4370/00]

Contract documents for the refurbishment of Castlebar swimming pool have recently been approved. I will be writing shortly to Mayo County Council authorising them to seek tenders for the project.
