Ceist:266 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the folio number allocated through the Land Registry Office for persons (details supplied) in County Mayo when they received commonage in 1984. [4954/00]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a land commission schedule which was lodged on 4 February 1985. Land commission schedules are deemed to be registered as of the date of vesting which is prior to the date of lodgment of the documents in the Land Registry. Accordingly, registration in the Land Registry of the land commission cases is afforded to a lower priority than the registration of other dealings.
However, I can inform the Deputy that, provided the documentation is in order and no queries arise, this case is expected to be completed in the next four weeks.
