320 Mr. Dennehy asked the Minister for Education and Science if the board of management of Ballygarvan national school, County Cork, has made representations regarding a new or expanded school; if it has offered sites for this; if so, the exact location of those sites; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5202/00]

The board of management of the school in question has written to the Department suggesting a number of sites in the Ballygarvan area as possible locations for the proposed new school.

These are being assessed at present and the Department will be in contact with the school authorities as soon as possible.
