222 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason no suitable school placement arrangements have been made for the education of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 in spite of requests for this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5653/00]
My Department has received an application from the authorities of the school in question for an additional teacher allocation to cater for the needs of the pupil referred to by the Deputy. The psychological service has been asked for a report and recommendation in the matter. As soon as the report has been received and considered my Department will communicate the decision to the school authorities and to the Deputy.
