Vol. 515 No. 2

Written Answers. - Occupational Therapy Service.

Austin Deasy

Ceist:

25 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans, if any, he has to provide a paediatric occupational therapy service in County Waterford; if the case of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who is in need of this service will be examined; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5589/00]

The provision of services, including paediatric occupational therapy services, in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, South Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
