Ceist:139 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress, if any, on the deliberations on the abortion issue by the All-Party Committee on the Constitution. [9928/00]
Written Answers. - Abortion Issue.
Upon the publication of the Green Paper on Abortion in September 1999, it was referred by the Government to the Oireachtas All-Party Committee on the Constitution for consideration. The Government will await the outcome of the committee's deliberations before considering the matter further. As Minister for Health and Children I have no function in relation to the committee's deliberations.
