Ceist:230 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the current position in relation to the town renewal scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10175/00]
Written Answers. - Urban Renewal Scheme.
A total of 101 town renewal plans which were submitted by county councils under the town renewal scheme are currently being examined by the expert advisory panel. I expect to be in a position to announce designations on foot of recommendations made by the panel in about two months; the report of the panel will also be published.
