9 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when the report on the town renewal scheme, being undertaken by a special review group, will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9761/00]
A total of 101 town renewal plans, which were submitted by county councils under the town renewal scheme, are being examined by the expert advisory panel. The Minister of State, Deputy Molloy, expects to be in a position to announce designations on foot of recommendations made by the panel in about two months. The report of the panel will also be published.
