I wish to have the business of the House suspended under Standing Order 31 to debate an issue of urgent public importance, the revelation that vaccines were tested on children in care in the 1960s and 1970s without the consent of parents or guardians which may have left some of the children susceptible to serious illness.
Request to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
Having considered the matter fully I do not consider it to be contemplated by Standing Order 31. Therefore, I cannot grant leave to move the motion.
