186 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if an application for a drugs scheme card by a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be processed in view of the cost of her necessary medication and the fact that all documentation has been lodged; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The registration of persons for the drug payment scheme is a matter for the relevant health board in the first instance. I have asked the chief executive officer of the North Western Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
