Ceist:160 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the reason for the long delay in making a decision on a visa application made by a person (details supplied) who submitted all the necessary documents to the Irish Embassy in Beijing in September 1999 and has not received an acknowledgement from the embassy to date; and if he will take into consideration the fact that her husband is an Irish citizen living in Cork who wishes to have his wife visit him.
