205 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a 1999 extensification premium payment has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12533/00]
Extensification premium is payable on all animals paid under the suckler cow and special beef premium schemes if the stocking density on the holding is less than 1.40 livestock units per hectare. Payment of 1999 extensification premium will be made in June 2000. A calculation of the stocking density for the person named will be completed at this time and if within the stocking density requirement payment will be made before 30 June 2000.
