209 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo was paid a reduced cattle headage rate for 1999; and if the penalty imposed will be reduced. [12566/00]

Payment in respect of both 1999 suckler cow and cattle headage schemes have issued to the person named. A medical certificate has been submitted by the person named and the question of whether penalties are waived is under review.
