356 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will report on the delay in treatment for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who is waiting on orthodontic treatment; when treatment is likely to commence; the number of orthodontists working in Fingal, County Dublin; and his views on whether this number is adequate to deal with the numbers on the waiting lists. As the provision of orthodontic treatment for eligible persons in County Dublin is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority (ERHA) I have asked the regional chief executive of that health authority to investigate the position and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
