Ceist:393 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the plans he has to review the £50,000 limit set in May 1998, namely two and a half times the income of one earner plus the income of another, in determining the eligibility for the shared ownership scheme in view of the fact the £50,000 limit was set two years ago; if an approach has been made to have the limit increased to £63,000; and if persons (details supplied), who have income of approximately £16,000 each, would qualify for a shared ownership loan if the current limit is increased to the level requested; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
