401 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he expects funding will be available for an extension to a recreation centre (details supplied) in County Mayo; if he has dealt with this application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12999/00]

An application for funding for an extension to a recreation centre has been received by my Department and is currently being examined. Further information is being sought on the proposal from the urban council.
