403 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will make a decision in relation to the designation of areas in Kilcock, County Kildare, under the town renewal scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13110/00]
A town renewal plan has been submitted by Kildare County Council in relation to Kilcock. The expert advisory panel is now in the process of examining the various town renewal plans submitted. The panel will make recommendations to me as to the areas to be designated and the incentives to be applied. Subject to the agreement of Minister for Finance, I will then announce the designations and I expect to be in a position to do this by mid-summer.
