Vol. 518 No. 6
453 Mr. Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if any amendments to the Wildlife Acts have been proposed; if so the provisions of the Act which have been deleted. [12814/00]
The Wildlife (Amendment) Bill, currently on Second Stage in Dáil Éireann, includes a number of proposed amendments to the Wildlife Act, 1976.
The Deputy may be aware that I indicated, in the course of my Second Stage speech in Dáil Éireann on 15 December last, that I am currently considering amendments to sections 46 and 51 of the Bill. These, along with a number of other amendments, the majority of them of a technical nature, are being considered at present and are the subject of discussions between my Department and the Office of the Attorney General.
