496 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when he will make a decision to naturalise a person (details supplied) given that this person is now in Ireland nine years and she is a highly skilled person who can work here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The application for a certificate of naturalisation from the person referred to by the Deputy was submitted to my Department in March 1998. I expect to be in a position to advise both the applicant and the Deputy of my decision in this case in the near future.
