536 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science if the plans for an extension to a school (details supplied) in County Galway have been drawn up by his Department's design engineers; when their work will be completed; if tenders will be sought for this project in the near future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application for grant aid towards additional accommodation has been received from the board of management of the school in question.

My Department is currently examining the long-term accommodation requirements of this school and when this assessment has been completed, the matter will be progressed further.
