212 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give approval for the tarmacading of the school yard at the Sacred Heart boys national school, Ballygall Road East, Dublin 11, to be carried out during the upcoming school holidays in view of the very long delay in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has received an application from the board of management of Sacred Heart boys national school for grant-aid towards various improvement works, including tarmacading of the school yard.

I can assure the Deputy that the application is being processed as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of projects on hand within my Department.
