136 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will give a clear indication as to when the remainder of an old Land Commission estate (details supplied) in County Westmeath, will be subdivided or allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The residue of the land, some 8.026 hectares, on this estate, known as the Beades Estate, was advertised for sale in August 1999 and allotted in December 1999.
