145 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Finance if he will make funds available for the cleaning of approximately seven miles of the Kilcoo river, which divides County Leitrim and County Fermanagh, at Kiltyclogher, County Leitrim. [16601/00]

The Kilcoo river is a scheduled channel of the Kilcoo drainage scheme for which the Office of Public Works has a maintenance responsibility. Maintenance works on the Kilcoo river are programmed for the summer of the year 2001.
