Vol. 521 No. 6

Written Answers. - Hospital Admissions.

Ceist:

103 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of hospital admissions, which arose following an event (details supplied), that were drug-related; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17875/00]

Information relating to the number and nature of hospital admissions following events such as the one referred to by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the chief executive officer of the North Eastern Health Board to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
