I propose to take Questions Nos. 228 to 230, inclusive, together.

The information requested by the Deputy in relation to each of the above parliamentary questions is set out as follows:

1.Agreements under negotiation: Agreement on the terms of an International Convention on Liability and Compensation for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage is expected to be reached at a conference under the auspices of the IMO in March 2001; it is proposed to ratify the agreement; and legislation will be required.

2.Agreements which have not yet been signed by the State:
