Ceist:344 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Defence the number of tenders to purchase received in respect of Devoy Barracks, Naas, County Kildare; the current position in relation to the sale; if he will have considerations made into the suggestion that this land be used for social housing purposes; if he will discuss this matter with the Department of the Environment and Local Government which should be in a position to purchase the land for the local authorities in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
