Vol. 523 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.

Beverley Flynn

Ceist:

436 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is entitled to a tax rebate. [20466/00]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of having received an application from the taxpayer for a refund of income tax. On 2 October 2000 the inspector sent the appropriate form – Form P50 – to the taxpayer to enable her to apply for a refund.

The taxpayer should return the completed form and any supporting documentation to the Inspector of Taxes, Castlebar Tax District, Michael Davitt House, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, who will review the taxpayer's liability and issue any refund that may be due.
