652 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure the Eastern Regional Health Authority favourably considers an appeal for a nursing home subvention payment at a reasonable rate for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 who has limited means and whose family already contributes financial support but has limited means. The administration of the nursing home subvention scheme in the Dublin area is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have referred this issue to the chief executive of the authority and asked that this case be investigated and a reply forwarded to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
