902 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of public houses and off-licences, by county, found to be in breach of the Intoxicating Liquor Act, 2000, under the terms of the selling to under-age persons; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand from the Courts Service that court statistics are not compiled in such a way as to provide the information sought by the Deputy. However a major expansion in the use of information technology is currently under way in the Courts Service and systems are being developed at present to provide improved statistical information.
