943 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will intervene with the Land Registry Office on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Clare and have the file expedited in view of the fact that the registration is holding up other documentation; if he will make a favourable decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to application for first registration which was lodged on 22 May 2000. I understand that due to their complicated nature these dealings can take time to process and, accordingly, it is not possible at this time to estimate a completion date. However, I can assure the Deputy that the application is receiving attention.

945 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will ensure that the dealing numbers for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo are immediately processed as they are required for further transactions; if he will make a favourable decision and have them prioritised; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the dealing numbers mentioned by the Deputy, as amended, refer to applications for first registration by the parties mentioned by the Deputy. The applications were lodged on 26 April 2000. I understand that due to their complicated nature these dealings can take time to process and, accordingly, it is not possible at this time to estimate a completion date. However, I can assure the Deputy that the applications are receiving attention.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there is no application pending on the folio quoted by the Deputy.

947 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will instruct the Land Registry Office to expedite the issue of a certified copy file plan for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [20694/00]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a request for a certified copy map which was lodged on 1 September 2000 and was completed and posted on 28 September 2000.

948 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will instruct the Land Registry Office to expedite the registration of a folio for persons (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the registration is ongoing since 1996. [20695/00]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a transfer of lands to the parties named by the Deputy, which is associated with a Land Commission vesting order.

I am further informed by the Land Registry that they are awaiting the lodgement of the land certificate for folio 43300, which was issued to a firm of solicitors on 24 April 1981, from the Land Commission/Department of Agriculture. A request for the land certificate was issued to the solicitors on 26 May 1997 by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. In addition the Land Registry wrote to the solicitors on 18 April 2000 seeking lodgement of the land certificate. To date no reply has been received. Registration cannot proceed without the lodgement of the land certificate.
