973 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation when he will make a decision on an application made for grant aid by Fingal County Council on behalf of Fingal Swimming Association; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20134/00]
The preliminary report which was submitted by Fingal County Council in relation to the proposed new swimming pool in Skerries is currently being examined by our technical advisers. Officials from my Department will be in contact with the council once this examination is complete.
