982 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position with regard to a former school (details supplied) in County Mayo; if the property will be used as an educational facility; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19322/00]
I understand that County Mayo VEC has acquired the premises to which the Deputy refers for use as an educational facility. I understand that, in the short term, the facility is being used to provide temporary accommodation for students from a nearby vocational school at which a major capital works programme is in progress.
