992 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Education and Science the plans he has in relation to a site in the ownership of his Department at Kingswood Heights, Tallaght; if consideration has been given to the construction of a post-primary school at this location; the current value of the site in question; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19435/00]
The site referred to by the Deputy was acquired by my Department for a second level school. No final decision in relation to such a school has been taken.
I am advised that the site is currently zoned by South Dublin County Council as objective F – to preserve and provide for open space and recreational amenities. In the light of this zoning it is worth in the region of £1.5 million.
