Ceist:1084 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science the position of the school psychology services in south Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20532/00]
Written Answers. - Psychological Service.
At present, all second level schools and approximately a quarter of all primary schools in county Kildare, including 19 in south Kildare, have access to the services of the National Educational Psychological Service – NEPS. As of 3 October, 2000, 20 additional psychologists joined NEPS and more will be joining during the term. As soon as they have completed their induction programme, they will be deployed in schools. Some of them will be joining the team serving south Kildare.
