Ceist:202 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if a project (details supplied) in County Donegal will commence works in view of the fact that it was allocated moneys in 1999. [20852/00]
Written Answers. - Sports Capital Programme.
A grant of £100,000 was awarded to the organisation in question under the 1999 sport capital programme, subject to a number of conditions which have to be met for final grant approval. Accordingly, to enable the Department to give approval for the commencement of work on the project the organisation is required to comply with the requirements of the programme in relation to the submission of relevant docu mentation. The organisation was advised by telephone and by letter dated 3 July 2000 of the documentation which is outstanding. As soon as this documentation is received my Department will arrange for its early examination in consultation with our technical advisers.
