Ceist:

433 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has agreed to fund the cost of the much needed refurbishment works at schools (details supplied) in Dublin 9; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22239/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department has received an application from the management authorities of the school concerned for improvement works. The application will be dealt with as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of such projects on hands within my Department.
