231 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a farm retirement pension will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick as he has been waiting for it to be finalised for a considerable period of time. [23036/00]

Payment of the pension in this case commenced at the end of September 2000 retrospective to 23 September 1999, the date of valid application.
