Funding in excess of £3.5 million has been approved under the national development plan for the development of the new dialysis unit at Cork University Hospital. I have recently approved the development brief submitted by the hospital and I have given approval for the development of a design team and it is anticipated that the necessary advertisements will be placed shortly.
