440 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the bomb debris, which is evidence from the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings, is still in the possession of the Garda; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23052/00]
The Garda investigations into the Dublin and Monaghan bombings remain open. In accordance with normal practice, the Garda Síochána has retained any evidential material which it considers to be relevant to these investigations. In the circumstances, it would not be appropriate to comment in more detail on the matter.
