886 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide a teacher for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford at a school (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24274/00]
I am aware of the case to which the Deputy refers.
I can assure the Deputy that my Department's inspectorate is actively pursuing a suitable school placement for this child.
In the meantime, my Department has sanctioned nine hours per week home tuition to assist the child, pending the arrangement of a school placement.
