184 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will investigate the circumstances surrounding a fine for overproduction of milk on a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he has satisfied himself that the fine has been properly levied. [26239/00]
The legal basis for the calculation of the superlevy charged to the individual concerned has been outlined in full to him on a number of occasions. I am fully satisfied that the legal basis is correct. The basis for the levy and the general background was set out in my replies to Parliamentary Question No. 204 of 10 May and Parliamentary Question No. 407 of 3 October 2000.
